Specific power re-defined - A technology neutral definition for commercial alignment

Specific power has historically been used to report and compare LNG liquefaction process efficiencies.  The generally accepted definition of specific power is the amount of power required to liquefy a unit quantity of LNG, as expressed by this generic formula:
