Greek-based LNGC owner GasLog is to digitalise its drydocking operations by utilising software supplied by Norway-based Shipnet.
GasLog has developed what it calls an ‘asset integrity roadmap’ to evolve its operations, which includes all drydockings being managed holistically and on a lifecycle basis with detailed planning from early stages of the repair and maintenance cycle.
Drydocking end-to-end management will be standardised and automated across the fleet, as far as possible with the existing digital lifecycle maintenance platforms being integrated with Shipnet’s software.
A central digital platform will then act as the core of all lifecycle planning, specifications, tendering to execution, project management, project closing and company drydocking statistics, the company said.
