Feb 8 (LNGJ) - TransCanada Corp., the pipeline operator and energy company, has suspended work on the US$1.4 billion planned British Columbia addition to its western supply collection network, Nova Gas Transmission Ltd. (NGTL) until shippers set a schedule for LNG ventures. The NGTL pipeline was poised to help transport unconventional gas resources to the coast from the Horn River and Montney shale plays in northeast BC. The feed-gas route is through the NGTL System via the proposed Pacific Trail Pipeline (PTP) that will terminate on the Pacific coast near Kitimat.
