Jan 27 (LNGJ) - Royal Dutch Shell said its shareholders voted to merger with BG Group to create the world's biggest LNG company. Shell said 86.08 percent of votes disclosed at a meeting in the Dutch capital, The Hague, were in favour of the merger while 16.92 percent voted against. Should BG Group shareholders approve the offer at shareholder meetings to be held on January 28, the transaction would be expected to be completed on February 15, Shell said.
