Dec 17 (LNGJ) - Chiyoda Corp. said its Qatar joint venture was awarded the long-term engineering, procurement and construction management services contract by RasGas Co., the Gulf nation's liquefied natural gas producer along with Qatargas. The joint venture called Chiyoda Almana will provide the services required for projects that support the operations of RasGas, both onshore and offshore. The five-year contract will cover small to medium-sized projects for a total of seven LNG Trains, three large-sized gas processing plants and other facilities operated by RasGas at Ras Laffan Industrial City in Qatar.
