Nov 10 - The French LNG storage tank technology company, Gaztransport and Technigaz (GTT), has received an Approval in Principle for the cargo-handling system on an LNG bunkering ship concept, suitable for both its Mark III and No. 96 storage tank technologies. This approval was granted by the China Classification Society after a review of GTT studies. "Our cooperation in China is growing throughout the years and we are looking forward to further working together with CCS and our other Chinese partners on projects related to small-scale LNG infrastructures and use of LNG as marine fuel, which are promising markets in China," said Philippe Berterottiere, Chairman and Chief Executive of GTT.
