Nov 5 (LNG) - A US LNG project developer, NextDecade, said it signed preliminary deals with customers it declined to name for the sale and purchase of a total of 14 million tonnes of LNG per annum. "These contracts include customers from across Asia and Europe," the company said. NextDecade, a portfolio company, is also "the sponsor" of the proposed Rio Grande LNG liquefaction and export terminal in the Texan port of Brownsville and the proposed Pelican Island LNG liquefaction and export terminal in Galveston, Texas.
