Sept 21 (LNGJ) - Australian engineering company WorleyParsons was awarded a contract by the Cutbank Ridge partnership shale-gas venture in northeast British Columbia, comprising production and pipeline company Encana Corp. and Japan's Mitsubishi Corp.  The Japanese company is also a shareholder in the LNG Canada project of Royal Dutch Shell. The contract is for pipe fabrication, module assembly and field construction services for the Cutbank Ridge gas plant project and is worth about US$125 million. "We are very pleased to have been awarded this important contract which builds on our long standing relationship with Encana and its partnership," said Andrew Wood, Chief Executive of WorleyParsons.
