‘Green LNG’ trend turns natural gas into primary fossil fuel of the 21st century
In its Global Gas Outlook 2050, the Gas Exporting Countries Forum (GECF) says natural gas will become “the primary fossil fuel of the XXI century” by 2050 – helped by the growing demand for carbon-neutral or ‘green LNG’ as the energy transition progresses.
