Sept 16 (LNGJ) - Tokyo Gas, the third-largest Japanese LNG importer, said sales of regasified LNG rose 4 percent in August. The sales amounted to about 1.22 billion cubic metres, the equivalent of 900,000 tonnes of LNG during the month. Togas said sales showed their biggest rise in the wholesale supply sector where its customers are other city-gas companies, increasing by 6.4 percent. Residential gas sales were little changed and industrial sales rose 4.1 percent.
