Sept 7 (LNGJ) - Russian natural gas company Gazprom has launched the four-day bidding process from September 7-10 for the supply of pipeline natural gas to Europe amid a glut of low-priced LNG. Alexander Medvedev, Deputy Chairman of Gazprom's Management Committee, gave the event a celebratory start by striking a symbolic bell. The bidders will be offered 127 lots with a total volume of 3.24 billion cubic metres. The gas will be supplied during the winter delivery period in 2015-2016 to several delivery points in North-West Europe at the choice of the potential customers.
