Eni CEO in Nigeria talks

Aug 4 (LNGJ) - Eni's Chief Executive Claudio Descalzi has held talks in Abuja with the President of Nigeria, Mohammadu Buhari, to discuss energy issues such as sabotage of facilities, exploration and production and liquefied natural gas. The Italian energy company is a shareholder in Nigeria LNG. "During the meeting, which was friendly and constructive, Claudio Descalzi renewed his condolences for the tragedy caused by the recent explosion of a company's pipeline in the Niger Delta, due to acts of sabotage, which resulted in the death of 14 people," Eni said.
