Petronet plans LNG terminals in Sri Lanka and Bangladesh

India’s biggest LNG player has unveiled plans to establish a 5 mill tonne LNG terminal in Bangladesh and a 1 mill tonne terminal in Sri Lanka.
The Bangladesh terminal is in addition to 3.5 mill tonne terminal planned for Matar Bari in Moheshkhali Island of Cox’s Bazar district or Anwara, Chittagong. Petronet is on the short list for this terminal.
