LNG plant developer, Sempra has confirmed that the US Department of Energy (DoE) has issued a permit to the Port Arthur LNG Phase 2 project allowing the export of up to 13.5 mill tonnes per annum of US-produced LNG to countries that do not have a free-trade agreement (FTA) with the US.
