Mitsubishi Power, a subsidiary of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, has signed a long term service agreement (LTSA) with Egyptian gas producer and exporter Damietta LNG (DLNG).
The LTSA calls for the enhancement of the reliability, efficiency and availability of power supply, and protect LNG production at the plant.
DLNG, one of two LNG export plants in Egypt, with a capacity to produce up to 5 mill tonnes of LNG per year, is a long-term customer of Mitsubishi Power.
This latest service agreement follows the company’s first LTSA, which was signed in 2006.
Under the terms of the latest agreement, Mitsubishi Power will undertake the spare parts, repairs and services for five Mitsubishi Power H-25 gas turbines installed at the facility, located in New Damietta Port in Egypt’s northern region.
