Substantial completion of Sabine Pass Train 6 was achieved on 4th February, 2022, according to Cheniere Energy Partners, a subsidiary of Cheniere Energy.
Commissioning has been completed and Cheniere’s engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) partner, Bechtel Oil, Gas and Chemicals turned over Train 6’s care, custody, and control to Cheniere Partners.
As a result, both companies have now declared substantial completion on all six liquefaction trains at Sabine Pass ahead of each train’s guaranteed completion date and within project budgets.
