LNG

Electricity, not natural gas, will drive the compressors of the Annova LNG export project at Brownsville Ship Channel, lowering the project’s carbon footprint. To that end developers have signed an agreement with the South Texas Electrical Cooperative (STEC) for supplies of 405 MW of electricity to cool and liquefy up to 6 mtpa of LNG.
