Cheniere Energy, the U.S.’ largest gas developer, has made a positive final investment decision (FID) on the Corpus Christi Midscale Trains 8 & 9 debottlenecking project. Full notice to proceed was issued to Bechtel to build the midscale trains with a combined capacity of 3 mtpa next to CCL Stage 3, bringing the total venture to over 30 mtpa before 2030.
