ExxonMobil has informed investors about a delay in the “mechanical completion” of the Golden Pass LNG export plant. Commissioning of liquefaction facilities at the existing import terminal on the Sabine-Neches Waterway in Texas would hence be “slightly later than previously scheduled,” CFO Kathy Mikells said, indicating first LNG is now expected just before June 2025.
