US LNG exports forecast to surge 85% in 2023

US LNG exports are forecast to be almost 85 percent higher in 2023 than they were in 2020 as nation’s natural gas production increases. “We estimate that US LNG exports averaged 9.8 billion cubic feet per day in 2021 compared with 6.5 Bcf/d in 2020,” the Energy Information Administration (EIA) noted in its latest short-term outlook.
