Brent price may top $54 per barrel in Q1-2021 on lower US production

The US Energy Information Administration (EIA) expects crude oil prices to rise from $50 per barrel in December 2020 to $56/bbl in the first quarter of 2021, caused by demand for petroleum liquids exceeding available supply. Brent prices could hit $54/bbl in 2022, impacting oil-indexed gas contracts.
