Shipments of Arctic LNG 2 bound for China ran flat for nearly a year, around 0.16 MMt a month from the middle of 2025. In April they rose to 0.29 MMt, and in May to 0.50, double the previous monthly high. Behind the jump is a step-up in Russia's capacity to move the gas.
