Our vessel tracking data shows Al Qa’aiyyah arriving at Golden Pass on 20 April to load the terminal's first commercial cargo. No declared destination is visible in AIS. Market sources cited by Reuters indicate the cargo is bound for Italy – a plausible routing given Italy's established position as a QatarEnergy DES offtaker and the contractual obligations QatarEnergy can no longer service from Ras Laffan.
