Saudi Aramco has been making significant moves in the global LNG market, reports on recent developments in both Egypt and Peru indicate and is poised to expand its global LNG presence with major moves in Egypt and Peru. In Egypt, it has secured the largest share of a 20-shipment LNG procurement worth US$907 million. In Peru, it increased its indirect stake in Peru LNG to 17.2pct through a stake increase in MidOcean Energy. Egyptian LNG demand has jumped in the year-to-date.
