LNG

The Russian government extended a license allowing German nationalised entity SEFE to continue to be supplied by Yamal LNG until the end of 2040. The current license was due to expire at the end of this year. Exports form Yamal LNG to Europe have been rising and hit a new record in January. LNG cargoes are among the few energy exports not currently captured by an EU-mandated stop to energy imports from Russia.
