Freeport LNG, the operator of the shut-down Freeport LNG plant in Texas, denied a Reuters report in January the restart would only take place in February. With January past, this constitutes yet another delay to Freeport’s quest to restart LNG exports after being offline since June 2022, with a risk of exports not taking place until March.
