High prices have weighed on Indian demand growth since August. Traders speaking to Bloomberg said storage capacity in northern India especially is currently at capacity. Our data do not yet show cargo diversions but highlight an uptick in vessel waiting times before approaching terminals. Longer wait times are symptomatic of a demand cool-off as weekly imports flatline.
