US LNG exports have increased robustly despite a fire-induced outage at Freeport LNG since the beginning of June, our data show. Whilst overall US LNG exports are up compared to the equivalent four-week period last year, they have been growing much slower to other regions of the world. Notably, Freeport LNG exported relatively little LNG to Europe during the summer last year.
