Teekay LNG Partners, a subsidiary of the Canadian shipping line Teekay Corp., said it reached an agreement to acquire an interest in two LNG carriers owned by Belgium-based shipping group Exmar.

Sonatrach, the Algerian energy company and one of Europe’s largest suppliers of LNG, has agreed more cooperation with Gazprom amid discussions that could see the Russians acquiring some key BP gas assets in Algeria valued at around $3 billion.

Clough, the Australian energy and LNG project construction company, said it received an additional contract from the ExxonMobil-led Papua New Guinea LNG venture to supply topsides, bringing its total contract wins for PNG to more than US$300 million.
