Chevron losses seem short-term result of changing LNG strategy Featured

US major Chevron in posting a loss of $6.6 billion for the fourth quarter also signalled that developing LNG projects at any cost was not part of its agenda. Since completing the costly Gorgon project in Western Australia, Chevron has refused to pay too much for ventures in Mozambique and Canada.
