US pipeline giant Kinder Morgan pushes ahead with Mississippi LNG export project

US energy company Kinder Morgan, operator of 84,000 miles of pipelines and 165 terminals, has applied to the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission to transform the existing liquefied natural gas facility called Gulf LNG for Pascagoula in Mississippi into an export plant.
