Europeans sign LNG and gas accords with Gazprom to safeguard future firm deals

Gazprom, the world's largest natural gas producer for pipelines but small in terms of liquefied natural gas, has postponed for about a year an investment decision on expanding its only LNG plant at Sakhalin Island in the Russian Far East.
