Canadian Douglas Channel barge-based LNG project applies for cargo export licence

AltaGas, the Canadian natural gas and utility business, has applied to Canada's National Energy Board for an LNG export licence for the proposed floating LNG export plant to be developed on the Douglas Channel near the town of Kitimat in British Columbia.
