Open data and transparency urged for LNG carrier fleet and other shipping sectors

MarineTraffic, one of several global Automatic Identification System (AIS) vessel tracking services that enable reporting of LNG carrier activities and other vessel movements, has called for an open data system to increase the competitiveness and efficiency of the shipping industry.
