Chevron progresses with Australian Gorgon LNG as Canadian venture stays on hold

Chevron Corp., with major liquefied natural gas projects under development in Australia and North America, expects to spend $8.5 billion on the ventures in 2015, though its Kitimat project in Canada is on hold for now.
