LNG

Brazil once contemplated LNG exports from its huge natural gas reserves in the offshore pre-salt basin, but is now turning to gas-fired power plant projects using LNG and eventually pre-salt associated gas resources as reforms and asset sales continue to reduce the market power of state-run Petrobras.
