The American Bureau of Shipping, the US classification society, said that the ABS-classed vessel, the “Diamond Gas Orchid”, the world’s first next-generation LNG carrier, has been delivered to a joint venture between Mitsubishi Corp. and Nippon Yusen Kabushiki Kaisha (NYK Line) to ship US cargoes.
