Merging US firms McDermott and CB&I agree name and brands and reject late rival bid

US energy and LNG engineering companies McDermott International and CB&I announced their global name and brands as a last-minute alternative bid for McDermott by a Norwegian rival, the Subsea 7 company, was rejected.
