Japanese LNG imports drop as Australian cargoes offset Asia and coal preferred for power

Japanese liquefied natural gas imports dropped 2.6 percent as Australian and spot volumes offset a large fall in shipments from Asia and thermal coal was preferred to LNG for power generation.
