Qatar wins Gulf of Mexico exploration rights in Mexican sale and adds to US LNG activities

Qatar Petroleum, the largest LNG exporter and the main stakeholder in the US Golden Pass LNG export project on the Gulf Coast, has won exploration rights for five offshore blocks in the Gulf of Mexico in the Mexican government’s bidding round.
