French energy company Total acquires Engie global LNG volumes and assets for over $2Bln

French energy company Total has agreed to acquire the liquefied natural gas assets of one of the nation’s biggest utilities Engie for up to $2.04 billion, including a stake in the US Cameron LNG project in Louisiana and taking its annual portfolio to around 40 million tonnes per annum.
