North China cities set to use more LNG and gas for winter air clean-up Featured

The northern region of China, including the capital Beijing and 27 other cities, is racing to reach a November 15 deadline to switch out of coal to natural gas as much as possible to meet new air-quality targets. The measures are likely to lead to regional LNG requirements rising by around 4.5 million tonnes.
