Japanese spot LNG contract prices rise by $1.20 per MMBtu year-on-year to $6.90 per MMBtu

Japanese government figures show that the average contracted price of spot liquefied natural gas cargoes for Japan in September soared by $1.20 per million British thermal units compared with a year ago to $6.90 per MMBtu.
