South Korea launches plan to capture market in LNG-fueled vessels for its shipyards and industry

South Korea has launched a government programme with shipyards, state institutions and banks to back the development of a class of large vessels with liquefied natural gas propulsion to expand on the first order from Russia for Korea to build oil tankers powered by LNG.
