Penco LNG import project in Chile delayed for up to 18 months but still on track for Texas cargoes

The Penco LNG import project in the South American nation of Chile, with plans to ship US cargoes from Texas, has been delayed by 12-18 months, according to Norwegian shipping line and project developer Hoegh LNG, supplier of the floating storage and regasification unit.
