Japanese LNG imports grow as year-on-year costs jump by 33 percent on weaker yen

Japanese liquefied natural gas imports grew last month as the year-on-year cost of the fuel jumped by 33 percent on a weaker yen against the dollar and as shipments of thermal coal for power generation also surged.
