Veresen Inc. of Canada, developer of the Jordan Cove LNG export project in the US northwest state of Oregon, said the LNG venture was still going ahead even as Veresen proceeded with its planned friendly merger with Canadian peer Pembina Pipeline Corp. in a deal valued at US$4.3 billion.
