Morocco moves forward with plans for LNG import facilities and gas-fired power plant

Morocco is hoping to join the ranks of global liquefied natural gas importers after its national power and water company appointed international financial and legal advisers for the development of LNG and power infrastructure to meet the North African kingdom's rising energy needs.
