BP of UK pays over $1Bln to US company for entry into Mauritania and Senegal LNG projects

Kosmos Energy, the Dallas-based company with LNG production plans for natural gas discoveries offshore West Africa, has taken BP of the UK on board as a partner in a transaction amounting to more than $1 billion in spending for a share of assets in the waters of Mauritania and Senegal.
