Indian Shipping Ministry advances with plans for LNG-fuelled barges and terminals for river traffic

The Government of India said the northeast river port of Kolkata has recently set aside 10 acres of land to build a liquefied natural gas terminal to mainly provide fuel for river barges and including a storage facility, associated pipelines and unloading arms.
